Process Analyst
About the Opportunity
Austal Defence Australia (ADA) require a Process Analyst to contribute to building organisational process maturity and capability. The role is responsible for supporting business process owners in designing, documenting and improving end to end business processes, to improve the efficiency, consistency and performance outcomes. The role works closely with ADA stakeholders to ensure processes are fit for purpose, aligned to ADA strategy, and supported by clear governance, measures and change enablement.

What’s Involved
- Support the development and maintenance of standardised, end to end business processes across assigned functions and business value streams
- Identify inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities within existing processes and support improvement initiatives using structured methodologies, within the Capability management Framework
- Engage with ADA stakeholders to understand operational needs, facilitate process workshops, and drive consensus on process changes
- Support the successful implementation and adoption of new or improved process through change and capability uplift
You’ll Need
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of process improvement tools (e.g. value stream mapping, root cause analysis, PCDA, DMAIC.)
- Experience working in or with operations, manufacturing, supply chain or technical project environments
- Strong capability in facilitating workshops, engaging stakeholders, and influencing cultural change across all levels of an organisation
- Experience in translating operational issues into structured process solutions
